I know it's been over a month since you've had my daily weather updates, but now....they're back!
I was hard at work building this new website over the past month and while there will be some additions and alterations along the way, I felt it was complete enough to launch and hopefully you like it!
On the home page, you will find five of the most important things on the website rotating in picture form.
You can easily get to any page on the website by using the navigation bar right underneath the new logo.
On the right hand side of the page, you will find all of your social media links - an easy way to share this website with your friends and family. The Google+ link will start working once Google opens its business profiles to the public.
Below the social media section in the right sidebar you will find the top two posts that are "most popular" on the site. This is an easy way to show you what most people are reading, which means you may have an interest in reading it as well. In this area, you will also see the "tags" box. Think of this as a quick search of weather posts. Click a "tag" you think you'd be interested in, and you will get a list of all posts on the site that have that tag.
I plan on doing more in the way of video work with this new version of Hammer Out The Weather. So, expect to see more of me over the coming weeks and months!
And in addition to being a primarily local weather website, I will be writing and/or doing video pieces on various current weather events happening here in the United States and around the world.
So, take a look around, let me know what you think and most importantly, get ready to once again receive your daily Long Island and New York City area forecasts from me!
Thanks for stopping by!
